strdel

Remove bytes from a string

Description#

strdel( string[], start, end )

Remove some characters from a string

Parameters#

string String to be manipulated
start Position of first character to be removed
end Position of last character to be removed. Must be after start

Return value#

Returns 1 if successful.
Returns 0 on error.

Example usage#

    new s{20} = "CatDogAnt";
 
    strdel(s, 3, 6);  // returns 1
 
    // s is now "CatAnt"
